An Introduction and a Spoiler

 Spoiler alert - Betty and Norrie did end up getting married and spent many happy decades decades together. I should know, I’m one of their grandchildren.

My grandpa used to bring out these letters for me to read when I was young and gave them to me when I was older. These are the letters he wrote to Betty, the pretty girl he met and fell in love with at his cousin Tiny's party shortly before he left for basic training. These letters are mostly from him to my grandmother durring his time being stationed in Hawaii during WWII. I do have a few from Betty to Norrie too so I may share those from time to time. 

These letters are some of my most prized possessions and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
